One more important milestone was reached in October, 2019 within the framework of commissioning works at the new largest Petrochemical Complex "ZapSibNeftekhim" in Tobolsk - the first own ethylene was produced at the enterprise, and the first granules of polyethylene were produced of it. The Petrochemical Complex is still being commissioned prior to start-up. After production of polyethylene at the first polymerization unit, specialists will have to adjust production of this polymer at three other units, as well as to adjust the process conditions at all stages of the production chain of the Company.

Upon start-up of production at full capacity, the petrochemical complex will produce 1.5 million tons of polyethylene per year. The company will become the largest polymer production facility in Russia.

The Tobolsk polyethylene plant will produce pressure pipes, auto components, blown containers (bottles, canisters, barrels, jars for cosmetics and yogurt), films for food and industrial packaging, and cable products.

Cryogenmash provided the first supply of dry compressed air and nitrogen to ZapSibNeftekhim in 2018. From that moment on, it became possible to perform commissioning works on all process lines and installations of the complex under construction.

Construction of the technical gases station with the capacity of up to 37,000 m3/h of gaseous nitrogen and up to 28,000 m3/h of compressed air was started by Cryogenmash in 2017. The station includes two large cryogenic air separation plants, a 280 m3-capacity storage system for liquid cryogenic products, an air compression and drying unit, a dual-circuit cooling system, dry compressed air and nitrogen receivers.

The basic equipment is designed and manufactured by PJSC "Cryogenmash".
