Students of Э-4 MSTU named after Bauman visited the air separation production site in Tula

On July 15, 2021, students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University familiarized with the work of cryogenic air separation plant at the industrial gases production site of Cryogaz-Tula LLC.

The plant was designed and built by specialists of PJSC Cryogenmash in 2019; it produces 14,000 cubic meters of gaseous oxygen and nitrogen per hour, as well as liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon. Since January, 2021, CryoGaz-Tula has been supplying liquid medical oxygen to hospitals in six regions of Russia.

Future cryogenists accompanied by Cryogenmash specialists, passed round the entire territory of the plant, visited the instrument operating room, saw as the operators can monitor and control the air separation complex operation. The students had a look at liquid oxygen in the chromatography and chemical analysis laboratory. Here the employees of industrial gases production specify the impurities level in oxygen, using chromatograph (the content must not exceed a basis point).

Nowadays, the students receive their work experience at the engineering company in Balashikha. PJSC “Cryogenmash” is interested in further cooperation with field-specific universities and colleges on preparation of young professionals of varied employment.
