PJSC “Ufaorgsintez”, ANK “Bashneft” subsidiary (a part of PJSC “NK “Rosneft”), put the air separation plant into operation after its technical modernization

17.08.2017 PJSC “Ufaorgsintez”, ANK “Bashneft” subsidiary (a part of PJSC “NK “Rosneft”), put the air separation plant into operation after its technical modernization. Following the modernization, the production capacity of gaseous nitrogen increased for 3500 nm3/hr.

The new plant will allow fully covering the demands for high-purity nitrogen of all petrochemical company facilities, including new process plants being constructed within the development program. At the present time PJSC “Ufaorgsintez” performs the modernization of equipment for isopropyl benzene production. New technology, using the high-efficient catalysts, provides for the higher quality of raw material, reagents and auxiliary materials. For decontamination 3 purification plants will be installed at the propylene feed line, where the regeneration by nitrogen is performed.

The plant AAzh-3,5 has been manufactured by Russian company – PJSC “Cryogenmash”. During the project implementation the modern technologies have been used, allowing producing the high-quality production with the least costs and minimal environment impacts. Production processes automation systems allow controlling the plant operating mode, providing with decrease of energy resources per unit of product to 0,25-0,3 kW*hr/m3 – more than twice in comparison with indices before modernization.

The previous capacities of PJSC “Ufaorgsintez” on the nitrogen production haven’t provided in full the works demands with required quantity of nitrogen, the required scope of products was delivered through the pipeline from the production site “UNPZ” of ANK “Bashneft” oil-refining complex. The decision on whether to increase the gaseous nitrogen production capacity was made in 2015, when ANK “Bashneft” formed new development program for PJSC “Ufaorgsintez”.
