PJSC Cryogenmash (member of OMZ Group) subsidiary started the medical oxygen supplies to Moscow and central regions of Russia

On 15th of January, 2021, PJSC Cryogenmash (member of OMZ Group) subsidiary started the medical oxygen supplies to Moscow from the industrial site in Tula. Thus, the company has increased the number of companies producing this medicine to three: one after each in Ural, North-West and Central region. The first batch of the product from Tula will be sent today to the State Medical Institution “IKB No. 1 DZM”, Moscow. In total, the company produces up to 1,500 tons of medical oxygen per month at this site.


The company in Tula received a license from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the production of medicines, and passed the procedure of making a record, concerning the inclusion of pharmaceutical substance (liquid medical oxygen) in the State Register of Medicines. A little more than a month ago, PJSC OMZ started supplying the product from site near St. Petersburg; the company has been producing medical oxygen in the Sverdlovsk region since 2012. Currently, PJSC OMZ is passing the product registration procedure at two more sites – in Taganrog and Tomsk.

“We have increased production and significantly expanded the geography of medical oxygen supplies, and over the coming months we are going to enter two more regions - the South and Siberia. It is possible due to the work of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Health, which in the shortest possible time perform all the necessary approval and licensing procedures to start the medical oxygen production, using our existing capacities. For our part, we promptly provide the vital medicine supply to hospitals,” - said Yevgenii Kislitsyn, General Director of PJSC OMZ.
