Denis Manturov, Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg RF), visited PJSC Cryogenmash

03.11.2020 Denis Manturov, Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg RF), visited PJSC Cryogenmash, and discussed the possibility of increase of medical oxygen production with OMZ Group management.
PJSC OMZ is ready to start the medical oxygen production at other four sites of PJSC Cryogenmash (member of OMZ Group). Denis Manturov, Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation visited PJSC Cryogenmash manufacturing site (located in Balashikha) on 30th of October and discussed the possibilities of increase of medical oxygen production with OMZ Group management.


The Cryogenmash subsidiary in Yekaterinburg received the first license for the medical oxygen production in 2012. The license of Minpromtorg for medical oxygen production in North-West region was obtained a day earlier. The demand for medical oxygen increased sharply due to coronavirus pandemic. Additionally to Yekaterinburg, Cryogenmash is ready to start the medical oxygen production on sites near Saint-Petersburg, Tula, Tomsk, Taganrog. Its own manufacturing sites and gas transportation facilities allows supplying the produced oxygen to the cities of five federal districts.
“Cryogenmash is currently in process of obtaining a license for the medical oxygen production based on technical oxygen. Minpromtorg of Russia provides full help for the process acceleration. In the same manner we cooperate with other companies, which are ready to enlarge or change the specialty of their capacities - and fully provide the country with enough quality of medical oxygen. There are 5 applications in Minpromtorg of Russia at the moment. All these applications will be considered up to 3d of November, - said Denis Manturov, Head of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
“Currently, Cryogenmash is the largest Russian producer of equipment for medical oxygen production. We are ready to provide the available capabilities for production of preparation required by medical companies. It is possible to produce in total more than 300 tons of medical oxygen per day at Cryogenmash manufacturing sites “, - said Yevgenii Kislitsyn, General Director of PJSC OMZ.
Cryogenmash is the developer and supplier of equipment designed to production of industrial gases for the various branches of industry, of medical oxygen, liquefied gases storage and transportation equipment. The company is founded in 1949. It has been extensively renewed in 2015: modern multiproduct manufacturing complex was constructed; design institute, solving the full range of research and development tasks, was upgraded. Cryogenmash equipment is used for production of almost 70 % of industrial gases in Russia.

The important direction of PJSC Cryogenmash development is the industrial gases supply. When concluding a long-term contract for the industrial gases supply on-site, Cryogenmash builds and operates the air separation facility at the customer's site, which is capable of providing industrial gases to the main production, supplies gases to consumers on the market. The eight on-site projects have been implemented for the Seversk Tube Works (TMK), Pervouralsk Novotrubny Works (CHTPZ Group), Taganrog Works (TMK), Izhora Works and Tomskneftekhim, TulachermetStal, Zapsibneftekhim (SIBUR) and Uralkhim.
