More information about the cosmodrome construction is given in the report by Renat Zakiev "On the threshold of changes. What is to be expected during next ten years from "Vostochny" cosmodrome"? Rossiyskaya Gazeta - Far Eastern District.

In December 2019, the installation of the process equipment of the launch complex for the Angara rocket was also started at Vostochny cosmodrome. According to Sergey Kostarev, the Deputy General Director of FGUP "Center for ground-based space infrastructure facilities operation" (TsENKI) on development of Vostochny cosmodrome, 14 enterprises were involved in equipment production. Earlier they took part in the construction of Plesetsk and Baikonur cosmodromes and for the launch table for Soyuz-2 launch vehicle at Vostochny.

"The equipment supplied is unique", noted Sergey Kostarev. By the middle of December, 154 road transport vehicles and 21 railway platforms arrived.

The oxygen and nitrogen process unit is being erected a hundred meters from the launch pad. Cryogenic liquids will be supplied to the rocket from this point via special pipelines. One of the component parts of this unit is the storage facility, which is a reinforced concrete site with foundations for oxygen and nitrogen storage tanks. The tanks were installed here at the end of December.

The tanks proper are transported from Balashikha, where the "Cryogenmash" production facility is located. It takes two or three weeks to reach "Vostochny" by railway. Then the "tank" more than 30 meters in length and weighing 92 tons is transported by an oversized low loader to the installation site at a minimum speed. For this purpose, the traffic is blocked because the cargo is not only very large, but also very expensive. Totally, 9 such containers were transported.

Balashikha space refueling stations are located at all Russian cosmodromes, including Kourou Space Centre in French Guiana, on the Sea Launch platform, as well as in India and South Korea.
