Construction of domestic cryogenic air separation plant has been started at Amur GCC

23.01.2023 The plant will fully provide the future complex with industrial gases: low and high pressure nitrogen, as well as technical air.
Now the pile work has been completed at site of the air separation plant, foundations are being concreted for the buildings of the main workshops, and the installation of process equipment is being performed. The main apparatuses for the plant will be supplied to the Amur GCC in summer of this year.
The production of industrial gases at Amur GCC includes two cryogenic plants, compressed dry air production plant, and liquid nitrogen storage and gasification system. Nitrogen is the basis for ensuring fire safety during the operation of industrial companies. Compressed technical air is one of the mandatory components of modern process control and automation systems. It is also used in pneumatic control systems and for preventive cleaning of process equipment from coke residue.
All equipment of new plants is designed and manufactured by the leader of the domestic cryogenic engineering - "Cryogenmash". SIBUR and “Cryogenmash” already have a successful experience of cooperation; earlier the projects for construction of air separation plants and supply of industrial gases have been implemented at the company's enterprises in Tomsk and Tobolsk.
“We are grateful to SIBUR for that during the work on a new large project, the company gave the confidence to our company once again. The equipment that our company produces for the Amur GCC embodies the modern ideas of Russian cryogenic engineering and, at least, is as good as the best world models”, noted Dmitry Kuznetsov, General Director of PJSC “Cryogenmash”.

Air separation plant located at “ZapSibNeftekhim”, Tobolsk.
