New Air Separation Plant Constructed at OJSC “Omsky Kauchuk”

09.02.2015 “Earlier, were 4 air separation plants АК-1,5 with a capacity of 1500 m3 of gaseous nitrogen per hour at the enterprise. The new air separation plant А-1,5 is of the same capacity, and the only difference is that it produces nitrogen only, as the production lacked namely this inert gas. As a result, construction of a new air separation plant will make nitrogen supply to the works shops more stable and sufficient. The analyses carried out show that this air separation plant allows to recover gaseous nitrogen with oxygen volume concentration not above 0.01%. The air separation plant equipment was supplied by a large Russian company producing air separation equipment and technologies – JSC “Cryogenmash” (Balashikha, the Moscow Region). The new air separation plant is an easier to operate, more cost-effective and energy-saving equipment having a number of advantages, i.e. automatic control of all systems and components, availability of both automatic and manual control modes, availability of safety lock allowing to ensure the maximum safety level of the plant operation. All the equipment have undergone preliminary tests which were meant to check not merely technical characteristics declared by the manufacturer, but also the plant safety and security during its use in the production process.  The new air separation plant putting into operation is scheduled in the 1st quarter of 2015.” - informs Group of Companies “Titan”.
